Nebraska flood relief update #2

Traci Kohls, with Project Restore, offers the following update on flood relief efforts in Nebraska:

What is the latest?

We praise God for the 17 churches, 71 volunteers, that served over 1,832 hours this summer as they joined the restoration journey with Project Restore in Fremont, NE. Teams have removed wet insulation and drywall from homes, cleaned up yards and homes, and have started to install drywall.

This is what one homeowner said after new drywall was installed in his home, “It’s beginning to look like my home again.”

But there is still more work to be done!

We need groups or individuals to help homes get safe and secure before winter sets in. If you have youth groups, small groups, or individuals who are interested in helping Nebraskans in need in November, Project Restore NEEDS YOU!
