Hearts for Jesus
2024-2025 Mission Project: World Vision
Each year, the Minnesota South District education committee chooses a project to support with their prayers and offerings throughout the school year. Hearts for Jesus is a wonderful opportunity for Lutheran schools and centers to support a designated mission outreach ministry.
During the 2024-2025 , our Hearts for Jesus project is World Vision Ignite. This program equips Christian educators with tools and training to inspire students to live out their faith and become world changers. Visit World Vision Ignite’s website.
Resources include:
• The Chapel Series - 15-minute chapel messages for elementary, middle, or high schoolers? World Vision Ignite’s chapel series combines Scripture with current facts about poverty and an understanding of the goal of knowing God’s heart for your students and the world. Read about the Chapel Series.
• K-12 Curriculum - resources are packed with deep discussions, videos from the mission field, and push students to use their understanding and sphere of influence to bring about global impact, all in the name of Christ. Get the K-12 curriculum.
• Student-Led Projects - step-by-step directions so your students can pull off a “build a kit” project, choose a meaningful cause to support, or give a meaningful gift that will grow in impact and help change lives for good. Choose something school-wide, by class, or in combination. Learn about the student-led projects.
