Friedman Foundation Poll Underscores Support for Parental Choice in Education
Friends in Christ,
Last week was a good week in our efforts to encourage Minnesota legislators to provide greater parental choice as they consider what type of school is best for their child(ren). The Friedman Foundation released a newly completed poll that shows remarkably strong support among a wide swath of Minnesotans for a variety of different parental choice initiatives, including three bills that are before the Minnesota legislature right now. I hope you’ll take the time to study this survey and digest its implications because, in my estimation, it delivers some very good news indeed! I have written comments about the poll results that you should find helpful in guiding your reading.

I also present to you a related resolution that will be considered by our Minnesota South District Convention in June. This same resolution was set before the Minnesota North Convention last week and was passed by more than 90% of the delegates.
And, of course, if you have questions I’d be more than happy to try and answer them. You can reach me at 507-317-9634 or fred.hinz@mnsdistrict.org.
